Soybean oil soap and Shea butter soap

Greetings all... I was wondering has anyone done just a 100% soybean oil soap or just a 100% Shea butter soap...and if so what were the results

100% soybean will go rancid quickly and 100% shea will have very poor lather. Is there a reason you are looking at single oil soaps? Most of them aren't very good, a balanced blend makes a much better soap.

Ive never done 100% soybean oil...but I have done 50/50 SB and CO and I still have perfect bars 2+ yrs.

Just trying something new ... I tried a 100% soybean added beeswax to it ......just experimenting to see

Just remember, SB oil by itself will make a mushy bar..you need at least some amount of a hard oil to hold it together..Im not sure the beeswax will give you what you're looking for, but let us know how it goes

shea butter makes a bar so hard that you could use it as a hammer to knock nails into wood. It has no lather to speak of.
