This is one of my favorites. It was my first soap using madder root and indigo. The colors turned out better than I expected. Unfortunately the indigo stained my washcloth. I need to try it again and tweak the amount of indigo.

Decided to post something I want to make: spotted this sandwich board last night @ Trader Joe's.

They didn't specify that we have to come up with a recipe for FOOD, so I think we should swamp their feed with strawberry soaps. Here's my plan for an entry: Strawberry Shortcake Soap with chia seeds in the strawberry section, ground flaxseed in the shortcake layer, and of course, a "whipped cream" topping. Here's the blueprint!

Everybody has such lovely soaps. I love looking at them all. This is the soap that I made that I think is the prettiest. It's not nearly as beautiful as some of your soaps, though. This was a lovely idea. Regardless of whether or not I am lucky enough to win, I have truly enjoyed looking at all the wonderful work you all have done!!

An old pic (the 1st time I made it, after I created recipe and scent) of a (now) standard, Apalachian Trails. I created it for a "manly" scent, but frim 1st year on, just as many woman have bought 4 themselves as men or women 4 the men in their lives! Think deep woods scents mixed with a tad of flowe8ng blossoms and some herbs.
