Soap Scraps

I have LOTS of soap scraps, shavings and ends. I know there is a place that will take these, can anyone tell me where? I do take the not so perfect soaps to a local women's shelter, but don't know what to do with the rest. Thanks!

Can they be chopped up to make confetti-like embeds for future bars?

Confetti soap is an excellent way to use shreds up. Also, u can put them in little drawstring mesh bags to hang on garden taps for grubby hands too.

You can donate them to "clean the world" they are a great organization. If you do a forum search you can find more information.

shred the scraps up, dampen then with a bit of water and form them into balls or soap on a rope.

Another option, rebatch them all together, toss in some coffee grounds and brown colorant. Makes a great gardeners scrubby soap.
