soap mold in two halves

I'm new to soap making and I have a soap mold that is in two parts. But what is the best way to get the two halves of the soap to stick together. There is no funnel to pour in the soap mixture so i have to do each half seperately.

Sounds liek you have a 3D mold. I would recommended getting a cheap funnel (they are pretty cheap, you can get a 3 pack with 3 different sizes at Target for about $3.) You will need a strong rubber band, maybe a few to put the mold together tightly, and then pour your soap in via the funnel and let it set for 24 hours or so before taking it apart.

Some 3D molds are made with a built in funnel. You can tell if one end has kind of a triangle shape in the middle and the other end is just flat, then the triangle part goes up and that is where you pour the soap into.
