The course has asked me to find a Glycerin Based soap recipe and upload into the forum. I am not sure if this is how it is done.

I found this recipe and after reading the recipe I have realised it actually sounds good to my eyes.:)

1: Find a Glycerin-based recipe:

Luscious Body Soap Recipe

8oz Shea or cocoa butter melt and pour base

2 Tablespoons Shea butter

1 Tablespoon cocoa butter

2 Tablespoons finely ground oatmeal

1 Tablespoon rose petal powder

20 drops red colorant

40 drops rose geranium essential oil

20 drops ylang-ylang essential oil

Method:

1) Use a double boiler add the soap base and melt the ingredients

2) Add in the Shea butter and cocoa butter add the heat to melt the ingredients.

3) Add the oatmeal and rose petal powder and stir.

4) Add to the mixture the red colorant and stir continuously till it is fully mixed with the mixture.

5) Add the essential oils and stir really well.

6) Pour into the desired moulds of your choice and leave to set.

Hello and Welcome! Are you asking if this is a good recipe to follow or is there something else? I don't do a lot of MP but have read and heard not to add more than a tablespoon or so of other oils/butters to MP. That seems like a lot for 8 oz of MP soap. And sounds overly scratchy.
