Soap Irritating Vuvla

Good Morning,

I made a 25% super fat 100% coconut oil soap with sweet Citrus essential oil as fragrance...The lather is amazing, the scent is blissful, my husband and father love it, but when I use it or other females use it, It is causing a subtle burning on their vulva. Does anybody know how I can adjust the soap so that women can use it too? I had no idea this could happen. TIA for your help!!!

Try leaving out the citrus EO, it could be too strong. Personally, I would also make a milder soap for that area. Do you have any other recipes?

I absolutely do not use soap in southern regions. Soap is simply not the answer for every situation as some soapmakers think. Do not ever think of selling soap as such, also as Obsidian pointed out do not use Citrus or for that matter any fragrance or EO in a soap down south.
