Good morning dear soap making friends, Have you done such product? This weekend I plan to make bar soap for my doxie.
Cold process soap. Olive, coconut, tallow, castor oils. What do you think?

Most people will say not to use soap on dogs but I do and it seems less drying than any pet shampoo I've bought.

That being said, I use 15% or less coconut. You don't want it to dry their skin with a high cleansing number. Think along the lines of a facial soap for people.

If you have neem, its good at 10%-25%

I whipped up a batch today with 10% neem. I was hoping it wouldn't smell quite so strong.
I used rosemary EO and some strong rosemary tea. So far the neem scent is much more tolerable.
My dogs have skin issues so this one is specially for them
