Soap Dough Novelties

Shells and a chocolate chip scone and some psychedelic 60s mica/embossed experiments and something that started out as soap balls and ended up as soap tops. It started with an experiment in rebatching two batches to going on to silicone molds. Help me, I think I'm falling in love with soap dough. This is becoming addictive. Making them, I mean, not eating them. Next up is a mold of an Oreo cookie.

Your soap dough is gorgeous! Very creative! Love the snails, they are superb!

I want to see a hermit crab come out of one of those shells.

Thanks to both of you - I cannot believe that I mislaid the silicone mold I made from the shell which I used to make these soap-shell-snails.

I made another one but it's not so good. We'll see. I have soap curing in it now. I have more soap dough in the works...

More. Soap cookies, eggs, shells....

Also a picture of "shells" made from polymer clay, the real shell, plus the silicone mold. I have a vague idea that I might want to fill these with shaving soap... we'll see.

The embeds are sloppy beginner stuff but I have another batch hardening that might be better... we'll see tomorrow. I actually forgot how I made the blue curly embed, LOL. I like the effect - how could I have forgotten how I did it??
