Hello!
I am new to soapmaking (and to the forum :)). I made my first soap recently... I used plastic molds which I covered inside with petrolium jelly (as it said in the book) to be able to take the soap out. It did not work! I tried more petrolium - it did not work! The soap just got glued to the form. Someone told me to place the soap in freezer... Is there a secret? Please advise.
Thank you very much.

Try the freezer thing - leave it in over night and it will usually just pop out. Wait for it to thaw again before you cut it though or it can cause splitting. Did you line it with wax paper as well? If so you can have someone hold down the mold while you pull up on the wax paper.
