Hey soap forum ,

I really would like to make soap that looks like this .

I knew to swirls , soap design .

Looking to perfect good outcomes .

My first guess would be a slab mold. With a chopstick to pull the colors into the design you see. Not sure of the name of the technique?

recipe and easy on the stick blender.

I also agree with a spin swirl. These are usually accomplished using a slow trace recipe. Lard and OO will contribute to slow tracing.

How do they make the batter last so long

Use a slow to trace recipe - lard will give you a lot of time. Bring your batter to emulsion, split the batter and color. Start pouring at the first signs of trace. Lisa from I Dream in Soap has a good video on recognizing stable emulsion.
