I've been experimenting with sugar scrubs, looking for that "I love it" recipe. I also have some friends testing. Two of the three have mentioned them making a slick shower. Having a wonderful shower mat in my shower, I had not noticed a problem, though it had crossed my thoughts. Now I am worried as far as pursuing scrubs as an addition to my products. I thought I would ask if anyone has encountered this and how you dealt with it.

Thanks!!

Non-emulsified scrubs will be oily. I squirt a little liquid shampoo to clean up the slick on the shower floor. You can make an emulsified scrub and it will rinse more cleanly.

Put a warning label on your product stating that the oils in the product may make the tub or shower slick.

I do the emulsified version, plus add the slick tub warning.
E-wax can be purchased through Soaper's Choice for really cheap.
