it's in the crook of my arm, an inch from my nose. It is not ready for prime time yet, just three weeks old. But cradled here in infancy, it coaxes sleep through molesting heat. Nearly a decade has passed since I've sweated this much in my own bed. My DH can only make it worse, so I turn away from him to a bar -- not one with tequila or gin or smokey men, but instead, with 3 parts lavender and 1 part rosemary. Oh how I love the complex, intoxicating, hypnotic sweetness of this simple naked being! And guaranteed, there will be no regrets when we wake up in the morning; only a peaceful, rested feeling and an unspoken desire to do it again tomorrow night :angel:.
