Slab mold and dancing funnel design

I wanted to try the dancing funnel design. I have a slab mold and cutter set, that cuts all 18 bars at once into individual uniform bars...in a grid if that makes sense. Will this cutter design work with the dancing funnel? Or do they need to be cut a certain cut, as with a log splitter. I cannot picture how the design works it in my head, and have only done swirls with it.

That should work! With the dancing funnel, the top of the top of the slab mold becomes the face of the bar when cut. If you have a planer, that can help the appearance if the batter gets a little thick by the end of the pour and distorts the pattern, but it's not necessary.

Yup, slab mold is exactly what you want for that (unless you like the weird look of cutting it the other way, which I don't). Definitely show us the pics!
