Hi, I'm Johanna, originally from Finland but now living in Toronto. I work directly with a women's cooperative in Northern Ghana that is producing incredible unrefined raw shea butter, coconut oil, palm oil and baobab oil. I try to support the women by importing their products to Canada. As I have plenty of butters suitable for soapmaking, I've started to make shea soaps myself. Find it really exciting to try new recipes and moulds. I really like the moisturizing soaps shea butter creates and I've tried to master the perfect recipe that utilizes the African ingredients I have. But always eager to lear more.
