Shaving Soap & Glycerin

I've noticed some highly-rated shaving soaps list Glycerin as the first ingredient (or second to water) before stearic acid. I've typically added 15%.
How high can glycerin be added before it bogs down the lather and becomes sticky?
I'd play around with it, but thought maybe someone else has already.

For what I consider a must-read for shaving soap, you really should read the Shaving Soap thread. It's long but there's a LOT of great information and insight. Songwind's recipe is a good one and the one a lot of us base our shaving soaps on.
