OK. I made my second batch and I think it's going to work.

This one is:

6 oz water
2.25 oz lye
10 oz olive oil
6 oz coconut oil
1 T. castor oil.

I brought that to a really good trace and then added 1 oz Chocolate Truffle Oil and a little cocoa powder. Smells great and looks nice and thick. Poured it into my mold and have it curing now. I'm more optimistic about this batch.

I'm going to try another one with different scent and maybe try to marble it. WOO HOO!

Carried Away

I guess I'm a little too gung ho for my second day! LOL. The 3rd batch would have been fine but I added some colorant and scent that I had and it made it really gloppy. I put it in a mold anyway and we'll see how it comes out.
