Last night I used my new 3d printer to make scrapers for a design idea. First use of it for soap, and that's what I bought it for! Super excited! But also nervous. The design includes some pretty deep slots and up-standing points.

I will need each layer to set up pretty well before I do the scraping, I presume, to enable it to hold those shapes. So I'm sure I need to add lye etc. separately for each batch.

My question is around timing those layers. How long is too long before adding a next layer, in order to have it not squash but sill adhere to the previous layer? I'll be fully bisecting the bar each time, so I image there's a risk of it separating if I wait too long. But i'd love to let it harden significantly to keep my pointy parts.

Any guidance welcomed! Thank you!
