Salt & sugar in cp soaps?

I use the powdered sorbitol at 1-1.2% of my total batch weight. The slightly higher amount I use in my Vegan high Palm recipe.

Although it is considerably more costly than sugar I am able to up the lather/bubbles considerably with lower CO and PKO

I'm curious why you put in a bit more int he Palm recipe ? Do you find that it doesn't lather a much due to the palm ?
