I make an emulsified sugar scrub that my customers really like and I enjoy the process of making it. I have been asked several times for a salt scrub recipe. Can I use the same formulation and just substitute salt for the sugar? It feels like a dumb question, but I honestly don't know. It's a purchased recipe so I can't share, but it includes EWax, Stearic Acid, Grapeseed Oil, Cocoa Butter and, of course, sugar.

Yes. Salt scrub is my speciality. 20 years this year. Anyway, yes absolutely you can.
I like using a mixture of salts. ..
