P.S. Maybe someone has tried this already... I dissolved a little pink Himalayan salt in distilled water and now I’m drying it in the oven to see what kind of crystals it makes. Hopefully they with be cubic and not shard like, but it could turn out that what ever it is that makes it pink will separate out.

I do Shunt's recipe as well (although I skip the castor and bump up the Avo to 20%, and only use 30% salt). I believe Shunt also uses 50/50 coconut milk and aloe vera juice (which is also what I do).

Darn, I don’t have coconut milk or aloe vera juice. I have some coconut milk powder, but it has maltodextrin in it. Do you know if that would work?

ETA: found this thread which indicates maltodextrin is okay in soap. And I remembered that I have some aloe vera gel that’s thickened with carrageenan, which is okay in soap, per this thread.
