Safety of 5 fold citrus oils

Does anyone know with definite certainty what the difference is between regular lemon and orange essential oils and the folded versions? If I remember correctly, the chemical they remove makes the folded versions more skin safe...and that’s exactly what I’m interested in as I’m making bubbly bath melts.

To my knowledge, it’s additional distillation that simply concentrates the product. I could be wrong though!!

Yes, the link helped enough for me to decide not to use citrus essential oils for these bath melts and went with NSS fo’s
Since they had calculations for bath bombs. Melts aren’t bb I realize, but as people sit in the bath water with these products I thought that was the most accurate way.
