I would think Olympics would be like government & you would have to live in the city/state/country you represent.

hey good for her though..she made it to the olympics...i know thats a dream for a lot of people out there, so whatever way you can achieve it why not go for it...

I just thought it was odd, like I said, I would have expected some sort of rule about living in the city/state/country you play for. The hubby educated me a bit & told me pretty much anyone could play for any team that accepted them.

I thought it was crazy that she doesnt speak russian though..how will she be part of the 'team' if she cant converse with them??? (or do they speak english?)

I think but I mean thats no fun to only be able to converse with your teammates through hand/eye movements lol!
