So I made my second and third batches of soap (ever) and I think they came out pretty well. I took some of the advice given to me on here and went with a smaller batch size, used a plain lard recipe, used a simple avocado recipe, and just paid more attention all around. By the way in the morning, after being shut up all night, the garage smells like soap now! Love it! (Oh and I found time to look up how to make plain and simple Mead, which I attached here as well - just for fun).

Lesson Learned

Oh, forgot to mention. I went with smaller batch sizes too. I used the two baby wipe bins in the background as my molds (holds 3lbs. each). They worked out pretty well to, and I didn't even line them with anything. (By the way the mead will be ready in about 3 months too)
