You can see how little of the form is visable. The form cannot be scrolled. At the end you cannot get to the verify you are human button or the register completion button without removing the keyboard. And even after I remove the keyboard check that I am human and hit the register button nothing happens. There is no notice that says go check your email. There is no email in my account to log in. Also I would like an option to log in at the top of the page rather than having to scroll down to the bottom thank you.

Edit . While taking the screenshots to illustrate my problems I did try to register again and it did not work thank you.
2nd edit I am on a Samsung Galaxy S7 using Chrome browser.

Also, it still doesn't want to remember me. I have to log in every time I want to try it. I'm using Chrome on Android.

I don't see an option to save a recipe to my computer...would be great to save it to excel sheet. And what it is 'masterbatch'?
Also it wouldn't be right to say about fragrances recommended 3%, because the all vary and vary a lot.

How's the most commonly used additives part going?

I was using our calc to formulate my next batch and got to the end and realized I don't know how much sodium lactate is recommended so I had to look it up on the calc from The Sage..

I have to say though, that I'm loving using this calculator. So easy!

Some Users who registered on the past ( where we had a problem with email ) .. were manually activated by me .. if you are logged in and don't see a warning to activate your email .. this means your account is activated .
    Thank you!

But, if I'm already naming my recipe when I save it, shouldn't it just use that name when printing?

I just encountered something (I think).

I'm using my phone and I came up with a recipe and posted it here for feedback (switched tabs on Chrome) and got carried away replying..... I went back to the calc and everything is blank. Is this coz you guys are tweaking still?

I know my info stays put when I switch tabs on The Sage calc and Soap calc.. Of course it disappeared when I closed the app.

    Not a bad calculator, Keith.
For me I would find it quicker to use if: Default selection for #2 was ounces, followed by grams etc. The batch size was right at the top, followed by the percentage of oils and the respective drop down for oil selection. Next an area that allows me to put my mold dimensions right there. This gives me a better idea of the recipe/accuracy of my formula.
Better still, I want it to tell me based upon the selection of oil(s), how much lye and water is needed to saponify.
While the right side of the screen (properties, fatty acids) is nice, it is not needed here. It should be a separate section. I research the properties I want from each oil before I plan a recipe, but that is my own preference.
I believe you are on the right track, just some tweaking and paring down.
I hope my contribution is useful.

The calculator works good, but some of the set percentages, such as lye, would be nice to adjust when discounting.

I'm not understanding what you're asking for. You didn't get the "recipe totals" with the amount of liquid and lye? Did you get an error or something instead?

Can you explain more of what you'd like to see? I change my lye based on the amount of superfat vs. discounting the lye, so I"m not sure which other calculator does it to compare.

I am really enjoying the mobile version!
Looks great, easy to use, easy to understand, and the list of oils to choose from is really extensive. I would usually have to use multiple calculators depending on the oils I use.
Having a print option is such a bonus.
So far I can’t find anything wrong with this mobile version.
    Great Job!

I haven't read all the posts (I don't have the time yet) so I'm probably asking the same questions. In the recipe properties what is "longevity"? How long the soap will last? What is the masterbatching option for? I'm assuming since I don't masterbatch I wouldn't need to use it? I always use SoapCalc and the previous numbers that I've used will pop up making it easier for me to make my recipe. Will that happen with this calculator? Just one more thing. Do I have to register or sign in using my username and password for the forum? I do think it looks great it just that I'll have to get used to it after using SoapCalc for so long. I like the option of being able to search for the oils you're using in your recipe. I did do the same recipe in both this calculator and SoapCalc and there were a few differences but the biggest one was the amount of fragrance oil. SoapCalc had 0.69 oz where as this one has 1.1 oz. Does this one use the amount of soap instead of just oils? Just curious. I usually use either Bramble Berry's calculator if I'm using one of their FO's or WSP's if I'm using theirs
