Rosewater soap

Has anyone ever used Rosewater in soap? What was the outcome? Did the color survive?

No color or scent came through for me.

I don't think any of the good stuff would be retained in soap. I would save rosewater for lotion or astringent recipes.

I tried blood orange hydrosol once and it was a complete waste; nothing survived. Keep it for lotions or syndet washes.
