Hi everyone
So Ive been making and selling some soaps for a few years now and the shaving soap is getting kinda popular.

I have this wonderful whiskey and wood fragrance oil that unfortunately seizes pretty aggressively.

Here is my shave soap recipe:

40% stearic
25% tallow
25% coconut
5% lanolin
5% emu oil

+15% glycerin

hot processed with 90% KOH

Ive tried some option ans to when to add the fragrance oil and so far no luck. I dont mind rebatching but then the extra work time increases costs.

My next attempt is going to be to mix the fragrance with the glycerin and add near the end of the cook.

Any other ideas?

When are you adding the FO? It should only seize when it comes in contact with lye so adding it after the cook is probably your best bet.
