I have 2 questions about RTCP-Room Temperature Cold Process.

#1 If you have a wood mold with a lid like the TOG, do you put the lid on
after you pour the soap batter in to let it set.

#2 Can you handmill or rebatch RTCP soap.

That is it. Thanks.

I have a TOG and always put the top on. All of my batches have been RTCP. Though a couple of my goats milk & honey batches have overheated and cracked on top. I know both heat things up but I am new to all of this so I could be doing something wrong! Next time I will leave the lid off to experiment. That was only 2 out of the six batches I have done so far.

As far as rebatching and handmilling, I don't see why you couldn't. But I have done neither so don't trust me on that!

I do RTCP and put the lid on for a more "gentle" gel... I know alot of people don't gel their RTCP, but I do. :D
