Questions about lavender scent in CP

I've mostly stayed away from essential oils in cold process soap, as I've heard they can fade.

However, I've not found a lavender FO that has good reviews yet. (I'm in the UK)

I've been getting FO from Freshskin, and they have a highly rated lavender EO - but none of the ratings mention soap, which isn't unusual here.

I seem to recall something about lavender EO being one of the ones that does stick - is that correct? Do I need to use clay to anchor it?
Or should I keep looking for a lavender FO?

I've feel like I've heard that lavender isn't great for sticking... I say that because my first couple of scented bars were lavender and it made me sad to hear that. On the other hand, I made them in early November and so far they're still going strong with no special effort like clay for fixing. I guess it's worth trying a batch and seeing how it behaves for you?

I have used lavender in CP soap with success. You might add some clay to the soap to help anchor the scent.

I've used lavender essential oil (Bramble Berry) with great success.
