I am very new to cp although I have been making MandP for several months now. I have two wonderful cp molds...a Kelsei and one from Paul but I also have a few sturdy plastic molds...tray and individual....which are rated ok for cp soap. I would like to try a few of these decorative molds for my next batch..other than oiling them with mineral oil, what should I be aware of in the initial 24 hours? Do I wrap them in towels or blanket to insulate...do they heat up too fast in these small mold? Should I put in freezer and skip the gelling? Any advice you can give me before I launch myself in this direction? I don't want to ruin these molds. Thanks.
