Hi there. I just bought the 7.5 basic mold from nurture soaps. It says it holds max 86 ounces of oil. So does this mean I calculate recipe for 86 ounces oil and my water or is the water included even tho it says oils? Thanks!

Also I am so impressed with nurture! They shipped incredibly fast and included two 5gram samples of glitter and three 5 Gram samples of micas

Have you measured the mould yet?
Using the "how to" from the top of this forum:
Volume of mould for oils= Length x Width x Height x .4 ( in inches). If you are using metrics use .7 as the constant.
My small amount of experience with this calculation is that it includes enough volume for the water , lye and EO's or FO's.

I use the above calculations to help me design my home made moulds and it works like a magic charm!
Many thanks to the OP for this information.
