Pumpkin Spice

Hi,
Has anyone used spices from their kitchen spice rack to create a pumpkin spice scent such as cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg. Does the scent come through? Would infusing the spices in olive oil work to bring out a scent?

Unfortunately the scents from spices aren't likely to survive. Plus some can be a bit scratchy. You really need either EO or FO for the good smells.
