Found some oils at the store but can not find their properties.
Pistachio oil and Walnut oil. What I found so far said its good for the skin.
So do you use it to just superfat or what?

Thanks,

Sonja

I would only use Walnut for superfatting or in very, very small amounts. It's basically a skin conditioner and will make a very soft soap.

You can soap them. I wouldn't use Pistachio for superfatting as it has a short shelf life. Any new oil that I use I generally start at 10% of the recipe and work from there. Testing is key.

Both oils are soft oils and highly conditioning but Pistachio is high in Oleic acid like Olive and Walnut is high in Linoleic - so they will effect skin types differently.
