Hi,

I am having problems with front labels for pillar candles.... if I use regular paper then the label absorbs oils and becomes oily over time.
when I use types of plastic labels (PP and PE) they get air pockets after very short while :(

would appreciate any ideas to solve this problem

That is a tough one since wax by it's nature has a lot of oil in it. I know that from putting price tags on the bottom the candles kill any and all labels. Not really sure there is anything that will work directly on a candle for the long term. Short term, yes. Long term...

Maybe if you had a looser band around the candle? But that isn't the look that you are going for....What if you wrapped them and put the label on the wrap? That way the customer would have to take the label off when burning and it wouldn't become a potential fire hazard? There are some wonderful "natural" shrink wraps on the market now.

Not sure if I helped.....
