Are these the same thing, just different names?

Polawax
E-wax NF

People talk about Polawax, but the INCA is Emulsifying Wax-NF.

Basically, is Polawax regular ol' Ewax?

Polawax is Croda's version of e-wax. From what I've read from other handmade lotion makers on other forums, not all e-waxes are exactly created equal, but Polawax seems to be one of the favored ones (at least according to the testimonies I've read) because it has a good track record of keeping emulsions stable without causing separation issues. Based on all those testimonies I read, Polawax is what I ended up buying for my own lotions, and so far, so good! I'm sure there are other e-waxes that are perfectly good too, but so far I've only had experience with Polawax.

HTH
IrishLass :)

Thanks. So it basically is plain ol' ewax, but probably manufactered differently, whereas say BTMS is ewax with a kick.

Cool :)
