I am incredibly surprised how quickly my hobby has taken off as a business. Once my friends and colleagues discovered that I make scented soaps, I have not had a free weekend. Just in the past week, 12 orders for holiday gift sets.

Is this NORMAL?

Way to go there Uplandermom! Normal, not for this economy really, but I can't complain either as I'm busy at my Etsy site selling soap making tools. Congradulations on your "busy" life! 8)

Paul.... :)

That's great! I'm drowning in orders right now and my holiday sale hasn't started yet. I have about 30 orders to pack and during my sale I'm estimating (from past sales) that I'll get between 50-100 more orders. I'll be working straight until Christmas. It's a good thing this is my full time job or I wouldn't have time to do it all. :D
