Hello!

I'm VERY new to soapmaking, and I'm planning to start a soapmaking business. I'm spending time researching and learning as much as I can. I have my soapmaking "bibles" and a great eBook. I'm getting my supply stash together.

This is a recipe I'd like use as my basic soap. I want a soap that cleans, without irritating the skin. I put it together and ran it thru Soap Calc, to get the weight of the ingredients, and the lye/water measurements, for a couple of pounds of soap. But it's basically:

30% Cocount Oil
20% Olive Oil
20% Avocado Oil
13% Hemp Oil
7% Castor Oil
10% Palm Oil

The qualities are:

37 Hardness
20 Cleansing
57 Conditioning
27 Bubbly
23 Creamy
69 Iodine
145 INS

Whatcha think? Superfatted at 5%. Anything "off"?
Thanks for your help!

ummm looks like alot of soft oils to me.. I think if you added some Palm Kernel it will get harder quicker.. this will sit in your mold for some time before you can take it out.
