Plastic shelf liner help

DH brought home a really neat cabinet/work table for me. It's just the right height for me, and it has 40 drawers. I want to use it to store/cure soap in. the drawers have some space between them, so there's air flow around the drawers, but they're too shallow for my soap to stand up, I could lay them down. My problem is I need to have some sort of liner to raise them a bit so the air can circulate better. Would the "rubber" shelf liner work... the kind you can get cheap everywhere? Or should I try to find something less flexible? And if so, what the heck do you call the stuff? I seem to remember somewhere seeing a sheet tray liner that was "waffley" looking, but seemed much more substantial.
Looks like this packing material, but I'd almost swear it was HDPE, and it's in flat sheets
Any help would save my sanity! Thanks

I use plastic canvas I bought at a craft store http://www.joann.com/plastic-canvas-7-count-10inx13in-white/1153493.html#q=plastic+canvas&start=2

It doesn't raise the soap much, but I let them cure on a rack for a couple of weeks. I have something like similar to this http://www.joann.com/storage-cart-with-6-drawers-multi-color/2348225.html which I lined with the plastic canvas. You could flip the soaps every few days. I don't know if this is what you are looking for.

I thought about that because I can get that really inexpensively. But do you think that will allow enough airflow under the soap?
I thought I saw a food grade, I almost want to say they were HDPE, but I'm not 100%.

That's closer... I have a picture in my head, and I know I've seen it somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't pull it out of my brain...lol
