This is one of my prettier soaps to date, but unfortunately, it really is only skin deep.
I made this on the 5th and had planned to do an ITP swirl but noticed after pouring that I forgot to add my FO, so had to dump back in the pot to mix. There was some swirl "residue" left in the mold though, so there's a hint of what could have been.
When I tested it a couple of days ago, I noticed that it has a rather chalky/gritty feel and it's still really soft. I think part of it is the excess amount of colorant (oops), and the almost exclusive use of soft oils (OO, CO, palm, & canola). It's also pretty drying, but I'm hoping some of these issues will at least partially resolve once it's had more time to cure.
I admit, I'm a bit disappointed in the FO, it started out strong, but it’s faded considerably, and leaves no trace on the hands post wash.
