Pineapple soap

hi, I wanted to make the pine apple soap. I used little water to mix and made lye solution when the temperature had come down i added the pineapple puree, after the temperature had come down i added the oil. the had not noticed that oil temperature was little high at the bottom. my soap came to trace with in secs not giving me much time to mix. for a trial purpose for the little soap I added a spoon of yogurt(curd) that mixed it well and pored to the container. after few secs i noticed that this liquid is so hot. why do you think it heated up? :sad:

Sugar. the sugars in the pineapple and the milk sugars in the yogurt are super-heaters.

I would not recommend using pineapple in soap, even pureed you are still likely to have small chunks of fruit that will go rancid very quickly.
