Personal photo thread

What do you all think about having a single thread to post one's work?
My husband is a glass artist and belongs to a forum for his craft. Last night he showed me his photo thread, which shows a progression of work over the two years he's been a member there. It was really neat to see how his work has changed, and I wanted to start my own thread in the gallery, but wasn't sure if it's okay. I'm pretty new here and don't want to offend or anything. Thoughts?

i'M definitely going to, but I can't seem to figure out how to access my imageshack account for my Droid. My laptop sadly died recently so my phone is it for now. I have to wait anOther two weeks to close on our house before I buy a computer, so you won't see me add the thread for a bit. Glad I'm not the only one who likes the idea.
Now why is it, when you are buying a house that everything breaks? The hard drive in my son's laptop also went ka-put, and of all thIngs, the vacuum cleaner! ugh!
