I love what I got -- even if it wasn't what I planned! Blended with patchouli, orange, anise, lavender in equal parts (a variation on South of France from eocalc.) I blended a nice purple mica but it darkened when combined with the dark essential oils. I made 2 batches, one brown/purple/brown, the other purple/brown/purple -- and then hanger-swirled. LOVE THIS SCENT and so does Mrs. Zing.

I'm still struggling with colloidal oats, it gets kinda clumpy. I've been adding them dry at thin trace.

Wow, those look awesome, Zing, and I bet they smell amazing!

Question: when you say "colloidal oats," do you really mean finely-ground oat flour? Because true colloidal oats don't usually clump; they are made to dissolve very easily into water. Some folks mix them with the FO/EO like you would do with clay.

But usually I stick-blend mine into the oils before adding the lye solution; maybe give that a go and see what you think?
