hi everyone,
I tend to avoid gel, mainly as I do rtcp. Nothing against gel, just ...well, not really applicable.
But I did a hotter batch today, that appears to be doing a partial gel, which I'm also fine with in this particular instance.
That got me thinking. I've only had something volcano once, when it was trying to climb out of the jug before I even got it into a mold, so all in all, I'm happy with my process.
But why would some batches gel and some volcano in the jug? Basically its my understanding of the volcano process which is lacking -only having had it happen once, I've never really dug into it.
Thoughts?
