palm oil shortening? how do i use this?

how do i use the palm oil shortening? its the same as regular palm oil since its 100% correct?
do i microwave it the same time as the co/co/oo? then just add the solid palm oil shortening?



250g goat milk
117 grams lye beads

olive oil - 247 grams
coconut oil -248g
palm oil -165g
shea butter - 124 gr
castor oil - 42 g
fragrance oil - 42 g

I love this stuff. I used palm shortening instead of regular palm oil in my last three batches. I melted it into my other oils and inputed it into soapcalc just as I would regular palm

Turned out good and was easier than melting down my palm oil bag like I did before.

Use crisco, new with palm for the correct sap value in soap calc. At least it is correct for my 100% palm shortening for Smart & Final. Mine has a NaOH sap of .138 according to the manufacturer
