Oregon Trails West Indies Bay - What to mix it with?

So I bought some Oregon Trails West Indies Bay hoping to make a bay rum with it. It doesn't seem to register as the bay rums that I have smelled. I'm not exactly sure what I can mix it with.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I love Oregon Trails West Indies Bay FO. It smells realistically spot on to my Bay rum blend that I make for my hubby by blending Pimenta Racemosa (West Indian Bay) essential oil with crushed allspice berries. One of the fragrance oils I love to mix it with is Barbershop 1920's FO from Rustic Escentuals.

Does this FO bloom once it is soaped? I haven't soaped with it but I had planned on using it in a shaving soap recipe. Sniffing it in the bottle and on cotton balls doesn't seem promising. It doesn't smell bad but it doesn't register as Bay Rum to me.
