What's the difference in the two from a soaping perspective? They seem to identical in values.

years ago the Pomace was cheaper but it is not now.
Aw, man, and I like cheap so much better!

I have only soaped with pomace once and it was a 100% pomace soap, but it traced super fast.
According to the Essential Depot website, “A high level of unsaponifiables (portions of the oil that don't react with the lye to form soap) in Pomace gives a faster trace.“

Pomace is higher in acidity than other OOs -- that's why it's recommended for soaping vs EVOO which is lowest in acidity, tastes better and is therefore best for consumption. 
I use pomace for faster trace. But my local grocer doesn't carry it anymore, so I probably won't be using it much anymore unless I choose to order it from Soaper's Choice. But I do like it for Castile soap and when I start to run out of Castile soaps, I'll probably order more.
