So I made a batch of soap yesterday...Two actually, and one of the batches had oily spots on it. I am 98% sure it is FO because when I added the frgrance, it began to seize! I tried to work fast but since I use such high temps (My trace temp was 111) Mopre stirring ment more trace! I usually don't have any problems, but the FO just seized to fast. I did I hot gel hoping it would "pull" things together, but I still have these pockets... The other batch I did...SAME recipe, same everything except color and FO, turned out perfect and smooth!

This is what it looks like:

I am going to try to rebatch. I have NEVER done that before and a few people have told me how... I am going to shred it, put it into a pot with a little water, let the shreds soak for a bit and then heat it up and try to smooth it out and pour it back into my mold... Does that sound right?

Thanks for any advice!!
