Hello everyone,
A year or two ago I saw a thread on here where people posted their recipes for an oil cleanser. The most popular ones had a polysorbate in it to help emulsify the oil and help it rinse clean with water. I made one and loved my results. Quite sometime has gone by since I have made this.... I don’t recall if it was polysorbate 80 or 20 that was used. Does anyone remember or have suggestions for me? :)

Hi Kiya- Polysorbate 80 is what everyone (including me) was using in that thread. Other good emulsifiers are Cromollient SCE and also Olivem 300. I have all three on hand and use them interchangeably in my emulsified facial cleanser. At first, I couldn't tell much of a difference between them in my cleanser, but over time, I've grown to prefer the Olivem 300 over the other 2.

IrishLass :)
