Hello all~
Yea, it's one of those days...I forgot to add one of my coconut oil into the mixture and realized it when the soap was already in the mould. As the soap was still 'pudding-like', what I did to try to save it was pouring it back in the pot and add the missing oil and blended it again. It did mixed nicely and later came out of the mould looking like normal but I still have doubt about this batch of soap. Anyone out there with experience of saving a batch of soap like what I did? Would like to hear from you.
Thank you!

Have you done the zap test?
If it looks fine and if there's no oil oozing out it should be fine.

What was the amount of oil that you missed in %?

I am thinking to wait a day or two and do the zap test. I missed out 30% of the oil. Superfat at 6%

If you mixed the missing oil back into the soap, and the soap now looks okay, why are you doubtful? Looks to me like you did the right thing to save the soap.
