Right here, silly!
I have one of those, too! As with Artemis, I also find mine to come in handy every now and again, depending on what I'm trying to accomplish at the time.

@Obsidian I pulled it out to blend buttermilk and sweet potatoes for biscuits. I had another one of these years ago that had a red handle with a white stripe. I’m not sure what happened to that one. Also not sure why this photo is sideways...

Seeing these just sends me back.

To a long, long time ago.

When I could still walk under the table that I still own. It was the kitchen table but has been repurposed. Something about the coats of paint under what you can see. yes, we used to use lead paint back in the day....
It will never come into contact with food again.

Here's ours. It belonged to John's grandmother; his mother was born in 1912 and it was her mother's. This one is well over 100 years old now and we use it regularly. It beats whipping cream faster than my hand mixer does. It isn't the most ergonomic but it still works amazingly well.

@Obsidian , that photo instantly took me back to my childhood kitchen! My mom used that "stick blender" regularly and was a talented baker. Thank you for the memory.
