Here's my veg cookie soap to go along with the lemon one I made last week. Scented with WSP Snickerdoodle Cookie FO. Top is colored with TD and Nurture's Vibrant Orange. This time I used just two milks--buttermilk powder and goatmilk powder. It also ended up being more of the milks--2 Tbsp this week as opposed to the 1 2/3 Tbsp combined last week.
This time I put the heating pad on top of the cardboard covering it, and turned it on low (and didn't turn it back on after the 2 hrs were up). I got closer! You can see around the outside where it didn't gel, but at least most of it did!
And I'm not 100% happy with the FO. It smells YUMMY OOB, but it's rather faint in the soap itself. I wonder if the people who left reviews saying it smells strongly in soap actually paid attention to the IFRA levels. You're only supposed to use .8% in soaps (as opposed to the 5-6% standard for FOs).
